Merrimack River Greenway Trail
Your donation helps the MRGT grow faster!
Thank you for supporting Friends of the Merrimack River Greenway Trail. Each gift will support our work to create a 12-mile long paved recreation/transportation trail, from Boscawen to Pembroke.
Our 2025 goal is to raise $50,000 to qualify for a $10,000 challenge grant from the Davis Conservation Foundation.
As of Nov. 25, we need to raise $8,500 more to qualify for the grant.
Next, we need to raise $33,800 to pay for engineering for the rail trail in Penacook.
Did you know? When you donate to Friends of the MRGT, 100 percent of your donation goes to Friends of the MRGT and 94 percent of your donation goes directly to building the trail. The other 6 percent pays for operating expenses, like insurance, postage, bookkeeping services, and maintaining this website.
The fine print
All donations are tax-deductible.
When you donate, you will receive an email tax receipt from Zeffy, acknowledging your donation and thanking you on our behalf. You will not receive another letter directly from us. However, you will receive a second email message from Zeffy in January of the following year, confirming that your donation was tax deductible.
Note: When you enter an amount in the donation form above, you will see a Zeffy-generated "Support the 100% free platform we use!" The suggestion is completely voluntary. You can change it to any amount you wish, including zero. If you do choose to support Zeffy, please understand that it will not be passed on to Friends of the MRGT and the voluntary support is not included in your deductible donation.
