I wholeheartedly support the City of Concord’s purchase of the abandoned CSX rail corridor and the conversion of the railbed into a paved rail trail. I oppose the time consuming, budget busting, environmentally damaging and unsafe alternatives suggested by Scenic Railriders.

I respectfully urge the New Hampshire Department of Transportation to continue supporting the City of Concord's version of this important public-private initiative.*
