Support the Rail Trail!

On June 14, the Concord City Council will hold a public hearing to help decide whether to appropriate $600,000 to purchase 5.68 miles of the abandoned Northern Line Railroad right of way in Concord.

 

This is the first step in building a rail trail in Concord.

(Also included in the $700,000 purchase is $100,000 for a 0.5-mile section of the Concord-Claremont Rail Line for the Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail.)

The purpose of this petition is to show members of the Concord City Council how much public support there is for rail trails. By signing this petition, we will convey your support to the Council for you.

​

You don't need to be a resident of Concord to sign. We will segregate the list of signers into Concord residents and nonresidents, and we will deliver it to the Concord City Council in time for its public hearing on June 14.
